MY CHILDHOOD. When I went to Disneyland back in November of 2011 (for the first time ever, I might add), and my family got on Splash Mountain, my little sister didn’t understand how I knew Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. Also, she didn’t understand why I always was walking right down the middle of Main Street USA. :)

(Part 1 of 3)

If your childhood didn’t consist of watching this video before every trip to Disneyland, then I’m sorry but your childhood was horrible.

By Christian Hopkins, this very talented young photographer uses his photography as a true artistic outlet to help with his depression. The whole set of images are just stunning and really draw you in, a perfect example of how art can help a person having a difficult time to express themselves.

So thankful for friends who tell you what you need to hear even when you don’t want to hear it.

You can learn a lot about people from the stories they tell, but you can also know them from the way they sing along, whether they like the windows up or down, if they live by the map or by the world, if they feel the pull of the ocean.

Our job is to love people. When it hurts. When it’s awkward. When it’s uncool and embarrassing. Our job is to stand together, to carry the burdens of one another and to meet each other in our questions.
